Turkeys South Western coastline is unique; a rich culture, historical sites
dating back centuries, breathtaking natural beauty, clear water for swimming and interesting towns for shopping, not to mention
wonderful food. There are many uninhabited islands to explore and deserted bays to anchor in. From ancient forts to tranquil
villages, dense pine forests to arid rocky mountains, there is a scenic surprise wherever you go.
The Turkish people themselves are amongst the most friendly and
hospitable in the world and are very fond of children. The pace of life is so laid back that a holiday cruise aboard your
own private yacht, taken care of by an efficient yet discreet crew is the ultimate way to relax and relieve stress in the
good company of family, or friends old and new.
The experience of a Blue Cruise can be a time to rejuvenate the
spirit while you discover and experience more of the natural world. It can be a spiritual adventure as well as a worldly one.
If you are a history lover, the Blue Cruise can take you to the wealth and power of bygone civilisations and ancient cultures.
It can be an overwhelming experience to visit the private beach of Cleopatra, eternal fires of mount Olympos, Myria Rock Tombs,
archaeological remains of ancient civilisations on land and under the sea .
On a Blue Voyage, you can leave behind the world of routines
imposed on you by modern life and responsibilities. Most of us live out our lives in large cities where the city lights dull
the brightness of the stars. On a Blue Cruise , while you lay out on deck at night, you can see all the stars as you hear
and feel the lapping of the water against your boat. In the rush of city life it is possible to loose perspective on the value
of health, rest, and relaxation. One a Blue Cruise everything you hear, smell, taste, see, feel, and live can excite the mind
and bring peace to the soul.
If your voyage coincides with the full moon you will be astounded
by the it''s size and magnificence lighting up the night sky. Slipping into the dark water for a night swim after a hot day
can be a treat in it''s own right. The peaceful quiet waters will cool you down for a restful and healthful night''s sleep.
Snorkeling along the brilliant coastlines in the noon day sun alongside the fish of many colours is another treat everyone
can enjoy.
After a week or two afloat in this scenic wonderland, old and
young alike find their own treasures and gifts... and will have many opportunities to revel in our healthy and happy environment.
Gulets
The typical sailing boat for a Blue
Voyage in Turkey is a handcrafted traditional wooden motorsailer mostly referred to as Gulet . These boats are custom-built
and designed specifically for yachting holidays in comfort.
Gulets were ancient trade vessels that sailed the coast of Turkey
for thousands of years. They carried amphoras filled with olive oil and wine. Today''s modern gulets are far removed from
ancient ones and now feature a variety of luxurious amenities. Instead of precious wine, they now carry happy travelers who
explore the pristine bays and charming villages found along the Mediterranean coastline while enjoying the comforts of their
gulet. Inlaid with teak, oak and mahogany these boats range in quality from simple to deluxe.
Each cabin is a double
bed cabin or twin bedded and accomodates two persons. There are one or more master cabins on some yachts. All of the cabins
have private WC and shower. The length of the boats vary between 18 and 35 mt from 3 cabins to 12 cabins.
They have got the basic equipment such as VHF radio phone, GSM, compass, stereo
radio cassette player, tender with outboard, 24 V electricity, ice boxes, fishing gear, winsurf , canoe ,snorkeling equipment,
life jackets, saloon bar, indoor/outdoor dining facilities, awnings and sunning mattresses. More luxurious yachts are
equipped with air conditioning , deluxe furniture , deluxe kitchen equipments, ice machine, TV, DVD, electric generator, more
water sport facilities.
Crew
On a gulet, the crew is charged with serving the passengers, as well as running
the yacht.Crews usually consist of a Captain, Cook and Seaman and on the larger gulets a fourth crew member will be at your
service. They are very friendly permitting a relaxed atmosphere but at the same time extremely professional knowing the coastal
waters and their yachts inside out.Due to their life on the sea, the crew members are a mind of information on the local history
and surroundings being able to advise on the best places to snorkel and anchor etc.
So you can get some super tips from the cook on local cuisine. Don''t count
on losing weight on these trips; the chef on boat will prepare the delicious home cooking with lots of fresh meat, vegetables
and fruits.
Of course they are all water sport lovers and some even good divers. The crew will be glad to help out as
far as their duties will permit and are there to give you an unforgettable Blue Cruise making you want to return just as the
